This Quartz Aquarium Heating Rod is an explosion-proof fish tank heater that holds set temperature in tropical, planted and reef-safe freshwater systems. The Quartz Aquarium Heating Rod uses thickened quartz tube and a thermal cut-off so even an accidental dry-start is much safer than basic heaters. Pick the wattage that matches your tank - 60W for medium, 100W for larger tanks.
